Logistics Management

KLSS provides functional subject matter experts (SMEs), who fully understand the domain, play a critical role in the development of our solutions and provide oversight to key customer programs. Our personnel have logistics experience that covers the full range of the acquisition management process; from acquisition, engineering and testing and item management, through operations. We are conducting research into electronic technical data, automating maintenance data collection and dynamic scheduling of complex workloads.

KLSS has extensive experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineering providing provisioning and a lifecycle sustainment posture for new weapon system subsystems' line replaceable and shop replaceable units; implemented a full contractor Inventory Control Point (ICP) following the tenants of the USAF Contractor Supported Weapon Systems (CSWS) Program including an Interim Supply Support (ISS) program; managed a contractor depot level of maintenance source of supply and source of repair capability supporting 384 USAF Weapons System subsystems; provided wholesale supply packaging, handling, storage and transportation capability to an USAF System Program Office in support to two operational wings and a full depot level engineering and maintenance program; implemented a depot level and ICP decommissioning and disposal program that has handled 43 major decommissioning and disposal actions handling assets valued at over $43M; and established ISO 9001 and 14001 certified contractor ICP and supply support processes to the USAF.
